At Peak Tutoring our mission is to help students Reach Their Peak! We define a student reaching their peak when the student has achieved their maximum outcome academically and has achieved the greatest amount of self-confidence in themselves. We do this by: Academic Development, Personal Development, Mentorship and Relationships.
Academic Development
Our tutors are experts not only their field of study but also their unique ways to deliver content to students to ensure they fully grasp the concepts. Our tutor will work with your child to develop an academic game plan that will not only help them reach their goals but maintain them.
Personal Development
We hire tutors that are not only experts in their field of study but are great people as well. One of the the benefits of hiring a Peak Tutor is that not only will child improve their academic success but more importantly their self-confidence will improve. Our tutors will work on other skills required that will help students out including: study skills, time management, test writing skills and many more.
Mentorship
Our tutors are not only experts in their field of study but are great mentors to your child. Your child will be excited to see our tutor every week when they come. They won't dread having to go to another learning center again. The positive attitude and excitement our tutors bring helps establish a strong relationship between the student and tutor, this allows our tutor to help mentor your child to reach their PEAK!
Relationships
We believe in building long-term relationships with our clients and tutors. Relationships are the cornerstone of our business and we strive to create the long lasting relationships with our clients. We do not simply send tutors to a clients house, but we continually provide assistance to our clients. We always encourage you to contact us to ask any questions about classes, schools, programs, what else you can do to help your child etc. We put our clients and tutors first and foremost above anything else.
Our Story
Peak Tutoring was established in 2016 by Malcolm Gagnon. After graduating with an Honours Degree in Economics and Business from one of the top Universities in the country he began working for start-up companies and Fortune 500 companies while tutoring in the evenings. Working for many tutoring companies in Calgary, Malcolm quickly discovered that they all made fundamental business mistakes. Companies would put the importance of short-term profits ahead of their clients and tutors. In 2015 Malcolm began to tutor on his own and started to envision how a successful tutoring company should operate. By building strong relationships with students, parents, teachers and schools there was quickly an overwhelming demand for his services and it was finally time to create a company with the same philosophies. We believe that by putting clients and tutors first we can help every student Reach Their Peak!
